Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1218

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha’bi. And from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who accepts Islam and has no patron (mawla): They both said: His inheritance is for the Muslims, and his blood money (diya) is upon them.
