Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Sha'bi, from Abdullah, regarding the nose: If one severs its cartilage (jad') or cuts the tip (al-maran), the blood money is in fifths. Whatever is missing from it, then it is by calculation.
