Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1317

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abda narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from al-Zuhri, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from Ibn Umar, that he found a thief in his house, so he drew his sword against him. And had we left him, he would have killed him.
