Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1329

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, he said: Ash'ath informed me, from al-Hasan: That he did not consider it right for one man to be subjected to retaliation (qisas) from two men in matters other than life.
