Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:1334

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shababa bin Sawwar narrated to us, he said: I asked al-Hakam and Hammad about the muleteer who drives [a mount] for a woman. And the most of my knowledge is that they both said: There is no liability upon him.
