Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:151

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: al-Minhal ibn Khalifah al-‘Ijli narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Tamam al-Shuqari, who said: A man passed by a cooking pot, and it fell onto a man’s head and burned his hair. He was brought to ‘Ali, and he granted him a respite of one year, but it did not grow back. So ‘Ali judged the blood money (diyah) for it.
