Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:167

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who struck [another] and his hearing, his sight, and his speech were lost. He said: "He owes three blood-monies (diyat)."
