Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 18:19

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Amr, that ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz said: If the one who was afflicted [by a crime] was from the Bedouin, then his blood money is one hundred camels. The Bedouin is not to be burdened with gold or silver. The blood money of a Bedouin, if a Bedouin afflicts him, is one hundred camels. If the *‘aqilah* (the paternal relatives responsible for paying blood money) do not find camels, then its equivalent in sheep is two thousand sheep.
