Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Sha'bi, from Shurayh, who said: He gave a judgment regarding the tooth of a slave and his *mudihah* (a wound that exposes the bone) according to the measure of his value from his price: half of a tenth of his value, similar to the blood money (*diyah*) of a free person regarding the tooth and the *mudihah*.
