Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said regarding the *ghurra* (compensation for a fetus): A male slave or a female slave.
