Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Isa, from al-Sha’bi, who said: There is no retaliation (qisas) for a *ja'ifah* (a wound reaching the body cavity), nor for a *ma'mumah* (a head wound reaching the brain membrane), nor for a *munaqqilah* (a wound that displaces bone). And there is no retaliation for the thigh if it is broken.
