Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from ‘Amr ibn Dinar: That Ibn al-Zubayr exacted retaliation (qisas) for a *munqilah* (a fracture that exposes the bone). He said: So some people were amazed, or the people began to express amazement.
