Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Layth, from Tawus, who said: Whoever drives a stake into land that is not his, and not his sky, he is liable for what it damages. And whoever digs a well in land that is not his, and not his sky, he is a guarantor for what falls into it.
