Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim: That ‘Amr ibn al-Harith ibn al-Mustaliq dug a well in the path of the Muslims. A mule passed by and fell into it, and it broke. Shurayh held him liable for the value of the mule, two hundred dirhams, and gave him the mule.
