Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan ibn Salih, from Shurayh, regarding a woman who emancipated a man, then she died. He said: The *wala’* (right of inheritance/patronage) belongs to her children, and the *‘aql* (blood money payment) is upon them.
