Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Ayyub Abu al-Ala, from Qatadah, who said: Everything for which there is no retaliation (qisas) is upon the 'aqilah (the paternal relatives of the perpetrator who pay blood money).
