Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha'bi, who said: The *'aqilah* (the paternal relatives responsible for blood money) shall not pay blood money for a settlement, nor for intentional killing, nor for a slave, nor for an admission (confession).
