Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il bin Ibrahim narrated to us, from Ayyub, from al-Zuhri, he said: I heard him saying: The blood money (diyah) of the mu'ahid (a non-Muslim under a covenant) is the blood money of a Muslim. And he recited this verse: "And if he was from a people between whom and you is a treaty, then a blood money payment delivered to his family."
