Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, who said: The people used to judge in the early times regarding the blood money of a Magian as eight hundred [dirhams]. And they used to judge regarding the blood money of a Jew and a Christian by that which they used to pay as blood money among themselves. Then the blood money returned to six thousand dirhams.
