Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Humayd, from Maymun ibn Mihran, that he informed him, he said: A man from the Muslims passed by a man from the Jews, and his wife pleased him, so he killed him and overcame him [and took her]. He wrote to Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, and Umar wrote: "Hand him over to his guardian." He said: So we handed him over to his mother, and she crushed his head with a rock or a hard object. I do not know if evidence was established against him or if he confessed.
