Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, from Shurayh, who said: Urwa al-Bariqi came to me from Umar, saying that the wounds of men and women are equal regarding the teeth and the *mudihah* (a wound that exposes the bone) and what is above that. The blood money (*diyah*) of a woman is half of the blood money of a man.
