Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: al-Mas’udi narrated to us, from al-Hakam ibn ‘Utaybah, he said: Shurayh wrote to Hisham ibn Hubayrah that the blood money (diyah) of a woman is half of the blood money of a man, except for the tooth and the al-mudihah (a wound that exposes the bone).
