Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Abi Farwah, from Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Hunayn, from his father, from 'Ali, who said: A man was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who had killed his slave intentionally. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, flogged him one hundred lashes, banished him for a year, erased his share from the Muslims, and did not execute him in retaliation for him.
