Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Affan narrated to us, he said: Sakhr ibn Juwayriyah narrated to us, from Nafi’, that a madman during the era of Ibn al-Zubayr would sometimes regain consciousness, and no harm would be seen in him, and his affliction would overcome him. While he was sleeping with his cousin, he entered the house with a stone, struck his cousin, and killed him. Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr decreed that his wealth be stripped and paid to the family of the victim.
