Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Isma'il, from Abu Ma'shar, from Ibrahim, who said: Neither the husband nor the wife has the right of pardon regarding blood (retaliation for murder). The pardon belongs only to the guardians of the slain.
