Hadith 18:927

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Amr, from 'Ata', that a man bit the hand of another during the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He (the victim) pulled his hand away, and his (the biter's) front tooth was extracted. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, declared it (the loss of the tooth) as blood-money-free (i.e., no compensation was due).
