Hadith 18:928
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, who said: I was informed that a man bit the hand of another man, so he pulled his hand out of his [the biter's] mouth, and one or two of his [the biter's] front teeth fell out of his mouth. He came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, seeking retaliation. He [the Prophet] said: "Should he put his hand in your mouth for you to gnaw on it? If you wish, I will hand your hand over to him for him to bite it, then you pull it away."
