Hadith 10:1005
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Qatadah, from Ikrimah, that it was his opinion regarding the woman suffering from prolonged menstrual bleeding (mustahadah) and the one for whom a regular menstrual cycle does not stabilize—such that she menstruates twice in a month and once in several months—that her waiting period (iddah) is three months. He said: And that was Qatadah’s opinion.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الأعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن عكرمة أن من رأيه المستحاضة والتي لا تستقيم لها حيضة تحيض في الشهر مرتين وفي الأشهر مرة عدتها ثلاثة أشهر قال فكان قتادة ذلك رأيه
