Hadith 10:1031
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Khalid, from Abu Qilabah, who said: The waiting period (*‘iddah*) of an *umm al-walad* (a slave woman who has borne a child for her master), if her master dies, is one menstrual cycle.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن علية عن خالد عن أبي قلابة قال عدة أم الولد إذا توفي عنها سيدها حيضة
