Hadith 10:1041
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Wardan narrated to us, from Bard, from Makhul, who said: "If a man emancipates his *umm al-walad* (concubine who has borne him a child), she shall observe an *iddah* (waiting period) of two menstrual cycles." And al-Zuhri said: "Three *quru'* (menstrual cycles)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حاتم بن وردان عن برد عن مكحول قال إذا أعتق الرجل أم ولده اعتدت بحيضتين وقال الزهري ثلاثة قروء
