Hadith 10:1054
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, regarding the waiting period (‘iddah) of a slave woman, he said: If she used to menstruate, then [her waiting period is] two menstrual cycles. And if she did not use to menstruate, then her waiting period is forty-five days.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن سعيد عن بن جريج عن عطاء في عدة الأمة قال إن كانت تحيض فحيضتان وإن لم تكن تحيض فعدتها خمسة وأربعون يوما
