Hadith 10:1072
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Qatadah, from Khallas, from Ali, regarding a man who marries a slave woman who has a child from someone else, and then [the husband] dies: He said: He shall not approach her until it becomes clear to him what is in her womb, or she has one menstrual cycle.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن نمير عن حجاج عن قتادة عن خلاس عن علي في الرجل يتزوج الأمة ولها ولد من غيره فيموت قال لا يقربها حتى يتبين له ما في بطنها أو تحيض حيضة
