Hadith 10:1082
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Musa bin Abi Kathir Abu al-Sabah, he said: I said to Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib: "How long does his wife observe the waiting period?"—meaning the apostate. He said: "Three menstrual cycles." I said: "And if he is killed?" He said: "Then four months and ten [days]."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن سفيان عن موسى بن أبي كثير أبي الصباح قال قلت لسعيد بن المسيب كم تعتد امرأته يعني المرتد قال ثلاثة قروء قلت فإن قتل قال فأربعة أشهر وعشرا
