Hadith 10:1085
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Isma'il, from Abu Ma'shar, from Ibrahim, he said: He is more entitled to her as long as she is in the waiting period. If he returns while she is in her waiting period, then she is his wife. Abu Ma'shar said: So Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz wrote regarding that to Abd al-Hamid ibn Abd al-Rahman concerning the apostate.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الرحيم عن إسماعيل عن أبي معشر عن إبراهيم قال هو بها أحق ما دامت في العدة إن رجع وهي في عدتها فهي امرأته قال أبو معشر فكتب بذلك عمر بن عبد العزيز إلى عبد الحميد بن عبد الرحمن في المرتد
