Hadith 10:1140
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, who said: There was a woman observing the waiting period (*‘iddah*) for her husband who had died. Her father became ill, so she sent to Umm Salamah asking her if she could go to her father to nurse him. She (Umm Salamah) said: "If you are in your house at one of the two ends of the day."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال كانت امرأة تعتد من زوجها توفي عنها فاشتكى أبوها فأرسلت إلى أم سلمة تسألها تأتي أباها تمرضه فقالت إذا كنت أحد طرفي النهار في بيتك
