Hadith 10:1179
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abbad ibn al-Awwam narrated to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak ibn Muzahim: That a woman married a young man, and he divorced her once or twice. He said: So he came to her while she was performing ghusl from her third menstruation, and he said, "O so-and-so, I have taken you back." She said, "You have lied; that is not for you." So they went up to the authority, Umar ibn al-Khattab, and Abdullah ibn Mas'ud was with him. Umar said, "What do you see, O Abu Abd al-Rahman?" He said: So he said, "I adjure you by Allah, did you strike her with water?" She said, "I did not do so." He said: So he said, "Take her by the hand."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عباد بن العوام عن جويبر عن الضحاك بن مزاحم ان امراة تزوجت شابا فطلقها تطليقة أو تطليقتين قال فأتاها وهي تغتسل من الحيضة الثالثة فقال يا فلانة إني قد راجعتك فقالت كذبت ليس ذلك إليك فارتفعوا إلى السلطان عمر بن الخطاب وعنده عبد الله بن مسعود فقال عمر ما ترى يا أبا عبد الرحمن قال فقال أنشدك بالله هل كنت لطمتيه بالماء قالت ما فعلت قال فقال خذ بيدها
