Hadith 10:1202
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan, from Abu Ishaq, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd, who attributed it to him (mawquf), he said: The waiting period (iddah) is from the day he dies or divorces.
