Hadith 10:1216
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Ayyub, from ‘Amr, from a man, from Jabir ibn Zayd, who said: "When you witness the witnesses, then [it is] from the day he died," meaning regarding the waiting period (‘iddah).
