Hadith 10:122
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Shurayh, that a man asked him about a man who said, "On the day I marry so-and-so, she is divorced." Shurayh said: "When you hear of the valley of the call (i.e., the announcement of the marriage), she is not lawful for him," meaning she is divorced.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور عن شريح أن رجلا سأله عن رجل قال يوم أتزوج فلانة فهي طالق فقال شريح إذا سمعت بوادي النداء ما حلت له يعني انها طالق
