Hadith 10:1220
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Hisham, from Hawshab, from al-Hasan, that he was asked about a runaway slave who has a wife. He said: "If he comes before the waiting period (iddah) has expired, then she is his wife. And if he comes after the waiting period has expired, then she has become irrevocably separated from him by one divorce."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الأعلى عن هشام عن حوشب عن الحسن سئل عن عبد آبق وله امراة فقال إن جاء قبل أن تنقضي العدة فهي امراته وإن جاء بعد ما انقضت العدة فقد بانت منه بتطليقة
