Hadith 10:1267
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, who said: The companions of Abdullah used to say regarding the woman whose husband has died: If the wealth is abundant, then her maintenance is from the share of the son (the heir). And if the wealth is little, it is from the entirety of the wealth.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا يزيد بن هارون عن حجاج عن الحكم عن إبراهيم قال كان أصحاب عبد الله يقولون في المتوفى عنها زوجها إن كان المال كثيرا فنفقتها من نصيب الغلام وإن كان المال قليلا من جميع المال
