Hadith 10:1270
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Bard, from Makhul, who said: If she is an *umm walad* (a slave woman who has borne a child to her master) and her master dies leaving her behind, then her maintenance is from the share of the one who is in her womb.
