Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban ibn Munqidh: There were two wives with his grandfather: a woman from Banu Hashim and a woman from the Ansar. He divorced the Ansari woman while she was breastfeeding, and she used to not menstruate for a year when she was breastfeeding. Habban died at the end of the year, so Uthman granted her an inheritance. He said to the Hashimite woman: "This is the opinion of your cousin, Ali ibn Abi Talib."
