Hadith 10:1289
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu al-Zinad, he said: I asked Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib about the man who is unable to provide for his wife. He said: "They are to be separated." I said: "Is it a Sunnah?" He said: "Yes, a Sunnah."
