Hadith 10:1300
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha'bi, who said: If a man’s absence from his wife becomes long, then he should send her maintenance, or he should divorce her.
