Hadith 10:1301
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, regarding the man who marries a woman: He said, "There is no maintenance for her until he consummates the marriage with her."
