Hadith 10:1302
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Marwan bin Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Kamil bin Fudayl, he said: I asked al-Sha'bi about a man who married a woman but did not consummate the marriage with her, then he was absent from her. When he arrived, she demanded maintenance from him. Al-Sha'bi said: She has no maintenance until he consummates the marriage with her.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا مروان بن معاوية عن كامل بن فضيل قال سألت الشعبي عن رجل تزوج امرأة فلم يدخل بها ثم غاب عنها فلما قدم أخذته بالنفقة فقال الشعبي لانفقة لها حتى يدخل بها
