Hadith 10:1303
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, he said: Yunus was asked about a man who married a woman, then was absent from her before he had consummated the marriage with her: Does she have [the right to] maintenance? He said: Al-Hasan did not see that she had [the right to] maintenance from him until he consummated the marriage with her, unless they say to him, "Take her," and he does not take her.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا إسماعيل بن علية قال سئل يونس عن رجل تزوج امرأة ثم غاب عنها قبل أن يدخل بها هل لها نفقة فقال كان الحسن لا يرى لها عليه نفقة حتى يدخل بها إلا أن يقولوا له خذها فلا يأخذها
