Hadith 10:1327
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Salim narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us with this hadith. He denied that 'Ata' considered there to be anything [due] for forgetfulness. He said: And 'Ata' said: It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, Allah has pardoned for my nation three things: mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are coerced into."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا يحيى بن سليم قال نا بهذا الحديث بن جريج فأنكر أن يكون عطاء يرى في النسيان شيئا قال وقال عطاء بلغني أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن الله تجاوز لأمتي عن ثلاث عن الخطأ والنسيان وما استكرهوا عليه
