Hadith 10:1332
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, he said: Sa’id was asked about two men. One of them said: "By the bird, if it is not a crow, then my wife is thrice divorced." And the other said: "If it is not a pigeon, then my wife is thrice divorced." He narrated to us from Qatadah, he said: "If the bird flies and it is not known what it is, then this one should not approach her, and that one should not approach her."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الأعلى قال سئل سعيد عن رجلين قال أحدهما لطائر إن لم يكن غرابا فامرأته طالق ثلاثا وقال الآخر إن لم يكن حماما فامرأته طالق ثلاثا فحدثنا عن قتادة قال إذا طار الطائر ولا يدري ما هو فلا يقربها هذا ولا يقربها هذا
